Backyard Pool

We set up or back yard pool again.

 Seth started to splash me teasing me because he was sure I wouldn't get in.

 But some days you just have to drop the phone and the pump in a dry place and jump in the pool too.

 Lexi and Chris had both fallen asleep so me and the monkey man played in the pool

 When Daddy got home he got pushed in too.

 Chis is not a fan of getting all the way in the water but will play on the outside of the pool

 Lexi even enjoyed it for a few minutes.

Bridal Veil Falls

Sam randomly showed up at noon one day and said he took the afternoon off to do something fun. So we headed up to Bridal Veil Falls to play in the water.

 The Puppies got to come.

The boys loved playing and splashing and it really wasn't very crowded. 

We dropped the puppies off home and then headed to Baskin Robbins for some ice cream, Sam had free scoop coupons from work.

So it was a fun afternoon and I love surprise Daddy Days off.

The last week of school was spirit week, so that's why they were all dressed up in sports gear.
Seth had a great year and is excited to return next year. He is a little sad to not be going with his friends to kindergarten but we have decided not to fight the system and think it will be beneficial for him.

Back to School

It's official! I got my letter of acceptance to Utah State University in their Communicative Disorders/ Deaf Education program. I will start in the fall, got all registered for classes today.
Don't know why I've got to do it now, but for some reason just felt right.

Darndest Things

Back Story: We really try to raise our kids to be accepting and loving to everyone. So often when Seth sees someone smoking he will say something like "that person is making a naughty choice but they can still be a good person."

Story: Seth was playing over at Aunt Terra's house and when we picked him up he said Aunt Terra made a naughty choice. We were intrigued thinking for sure Aunt Terra wasn't smoking. We asked him what naughty choice Aunt Terra made and he said "She went to McDonald's. That's a naughty choice"

So apparently to our 4 year old smoking and McDonald's are both against the word of wisdom.
