Just another day in Paradise

We read stories

We make faces and play with Mommy's phone

We cuddle

We eat.. We like to eat

We make silly faces

We make messes... or spider webs, or an obstacle course, or a laser trap like on Mythbusters...

We play with side walk chalk

We miss Daddy while he's at work

We go to the Park

We start packing for our big trip... because we have to take our beach boots when we go to the beach.

We made a giant slip and slide. It was black so the water stayed warm and we put some soap on it so it was super slippery.

We tried to skateboard like the big boys and let our face break our fall.

We go for motorcycle rides

We brush our teeth

We made a few trips to Trafalga for some fun

We cook dinner in the back yard

We have visited a few splash pads

We have visits with Uncle Matt

We try to take it all in

We make grass angels in the fresh cut grass

We smile

We make stuff that people say is great on Pinterest... 

This mad science experiment was making our own bouncy balls

We just keep smiling

We relax

We try all sorts of new recipes with stuff out of our garden.

This night was Corn Tortilla chips, Stuffed jalapeno peppers

We went to the summer kids movie with Marie (thanks Janel)

 

We rock  the swim goggles

We harass the neighbors... this day he was telling the boys stories about bears.

We dog sat... 

We played with our puppies

And so much more but I've run out of  time to share gotta go make more memories.

Day 1

We got here about noon. We played and played and then were all tuckered out.

All dressed up

 The boys dressed up to go to work...

We stayed home and cuddled up 

Chris gets to go with Sam too. Like just last Sunday he got to go with him to go Home Teaching. He just didn't want his picture taken.

I just can't get enough of her sweet little face.

Pioneer Day

Pioneer day was really mellow.

Sam had the day off. 

We cleaned a little bit.

Then Uncle Matt came for a visit.

 Then we had a BBQ with Grandma and Grandpa Forsgren and Papa and Grandma Mogel. 

Then we lit of Fireworks

 His skateboard scuffs were healing nicely. (now they are all gone, good as new)

 Then we roasted Marshmallows.

 And lit more fireworks

 And ate more cookies and marshmallows

Then we went to bed. Before any of the big fireworks. It was a great mellow day, filled with lots of people we love.

Figuring it out

There was a lesson last week in relief society about keeping a family history/ journal. And my problem is finding time to do it so I figured if I could figure out how to do it from my phone with quick pictures it would be easier to do it everyday. So here's my first try.

Big Fish Little Pond

She was just getting to long to take bathes in the the little tub that fits on the sink. So we moved her to the big tub in her bath chair.

I don't think she liked it one little bit.

Pickles and Sauce.

What are you doing today? I bet it's not as much fun as me... Today we are bottling pickles, and 2 large cookers of tomato sauce. And by 2 large cookers I mean They fit 16 quart bottles in them each and I'm just cooking the sauce its not even in the bottles yet. It's going to be hot but at least my house smells good.
