Fruits of My Labor part I

Actual Flowers from my Yard! I'm so excited!

We have tons of other flowers that haven't bloomed yet, so hopefull they will throughout the summer. We also planted 3 more Hibiscus bushes that I can't wait to bloom this summer along with the 3 we already had.
~~Soon we will feast from our yard! ~~

Peas and beans have taken over the fence

Our new fruit trees are doing great!
Apricots
(we had tons of apricot trees growing up, and I HATE them, I hate the smell, taste, texture everything about them, but Sam and Seth like them so we kept the tree)
Plums
All of our 5 plum trees are loaded!
Nectarines
I even thinned them this year, but the tree is loaded I can't wait!
Radishes
Grapes
They are loaded this year!
New Ruby Lace Honey Lotus tree

Raspberries
We planted them this year and they have quadrupled in size and are full of berries

Our Tomato's (5 kinds), peppers (5 kinds), tomitallos, radishes, carrots, onions, leeks, pumpkins, cantaloupe, honeydew, zucchini, watermelon, squash, corn, sunflowers, and herb garden are also taking off. I can't wait to bottle salsa, grape juice, SF jam, and everything else I can. And eat the rest this summer and fall.

Hurricane Trip

So every year for Sam's Birthday we try to head to Hurricane. It works out pretty good because Sam's birthday usually ends up around Memorial Day.
We moved cows, Seth got to ride in the back of the truck and Grandpa let FD ride a horse. She was thrilled! Seth got tuckered out and took a nap in the truck with Grandma Great.
Seth rode in a go cart, everyone jumped on Grandma and Grandpa Great's tramp. We had a Birthday Party for Sam, McKay, Kellie, Matt and Keith. Sam got to go shooting and fun was had by all!

A few days before we went to Hurricane Seth decided that he could go down our concrete stairs frontwards like everyone else. And that's how he got the scrape over his eye.

My Baugh Boys Biker Gang

So Sam's birthday is tomorrow (Friday). Last year for his birthday I let him get a motorcycle, I made sure it didn't have much power thinking he would be less likely to hurt himself. A few months ago I was following him on the freeway and it was driving me crazy watching traffic zoom by him. So this month it was time to register his motorcycle and I put it off all month until his day off this week. And when he asked where the registration was so he could go register his bike I said why register it when you can just go get a new one with more power. He was so excited! So he got a bigger bike, and looks really good on it too. ( I don't have a picture of just Sam on his bike because he's been gone on it ever since he brought it home, rode it to work, to Salt Lake for School, to the grocery store...)

The day before that a really cute electric kids American chopper motorcycle had come into Sam's work so I went and picked it up for Seth because he idolizes his Daddy, and wants a motorcycle really bad. It came with training wheels, motorcycle sounds, moves and everything!

So here are a few pictures of my Baugh Boys Biker Gang. I think they are adorable! The footsie Pj's and Binkie add to Seth's tough guy look don't you think?

A Day at the Farm

Some friends of ours came down last week for a visit. Steve, Callie, Austin, Seth and I went to Farm Country at Thanksgiving point and then we BBQ'ed and relaxed in the hot tub. It was a blast! So here are a few pictures. Of course we had to take a pony ride and a tractor ride! and an occasional sheep ride too.

We also set up the pool in the backyard. Seth loves the hot tub but I figured he would enjoy this too. I swear he would live in the water if he could.
