December 9th 2008, the day Marie moved in. That was 2 years ago yesterday. We went shopping and this is the outfit she picked out. She twirled and said she felt so pretty.
A few days later we took her to see the Christmas Lights at Temple Square she said she had never been.

Oh how things can change.
I can't say the last 2 years has been the easiest and everything has been easy, but I can tell you that it has been worth it. To know that hopefully we have help Marie shape her life into something more positive than what it was. She smiles and laughs a lot more now, she's confident, she can read (and loves it), the aggression is ancient history along with so many of the other issues she came with. I'm proud of who she is becoming,what she has over come, and knowing that we have had a part of that is amazing.
