Lexi graduated her Sweet Peas class in Preschool the week before.
Grandpa was able to come and watch her graduate.
The rest of the week was spent relaxing...
And having a yard sale and packing stuff up and maybe a trip to the pool.
The first official week of summer:
Monday- Memorial Day
We kept the tradition and went to Enoch's BBQ. We won for best side dish with Dutch Oven Potatoes. We won best dessert for Cherry Brownie Cobbler. We won best condiment for spinach bacon spread. Lexi won for most patriotic. Chris and Seth won for best Party shirts. And Seth came in second for most food eaten by a kid.
We spent the rest of the day packing stuff up to get it ready for new Carpet!!!
Tuesday: New Carpet!!! Since the living room, kitchen, bathroom and back hallway are all either hard wood or tile we just left those. But NEW fluffy clean carpet in the hallway and bedrooms.
While they put in the carpet the kids and I played outside in the little pool and slip n' slide. Our friends Alex and his Mom Em came over to play too. I worked outside in the yard too while they played. I love when all our flowers come out.
We might have had a Popsicle or two.
Tuesday night was spent at baseball practices.
Chris at 5:30 to 6:30. Lexi from 6 to 7. Seth from 7 to 9.
Wednesday: We put the bedrooms back together in the morning. After lunch we headed out to Farm County and then to the swimming pool.
Then we went to the pool for hours.
Thursday: They walked the dogs in the morning and rode their bikes up and down block.

Lexi had fallen and Pugsley came and sat on her to make her feel better.
Back to Thursday:
We still had the pool up so we had some friends over to play. In between the pool, slip in slide and sprinkler under the trampoline everyone ended up wet.
Then the boys had bike class. Bike Class is at the Provo Bike Collective. It's a free class that teaches them bike maintenance and safety and after 10 classes the kids get a free bike. The boys are really enjoying it. I am enjoying that they know how to fix their tires now and I don't have too.
Friday: I had to work for a couple hours and then we went grocery shopping. It was a miracle. Grocery shopping was set up to be a disaster. It was with all 3 kids, it was lunch time, they had been bored while I worked so I was dreading it. But, it was a miracle they behaved. We made it through quickly, got everything on the list and it was under budget! As a reward I said I would take them to the movies. Sam worked from 7 am to after 10pm Wednesday-Friday this week so I thought it would be an easy activity that would be fun. They didn't want to go though they wanted to use the money that I would have bought a ticket to buy candy, soda and movie popcorn to watch a movie at home. So that's what we did. We have an AWESOME Plex account so it makes movies at home really easy.
Saturday: Was our first baseball Saturday. Chris and Seth's games were both at 9am and Lexi's was at 11am. The pictures are all cell phone pics. My telephoto lens for my SLR is still in a box somewhere but it will be found by next Saturday.
There aren't any pictures of Chris playing because Sam is the Coach and it's a coach pitch team so Sam couldn't take pictures. But the games I get to go too there will be lots of pictures. We would ask another parent too but the only ones we know aren't prone to be very helpful towards us. So we will catch up on pictures of Chris on the games I get to go too.
Seth did very well for his first coach pitch. He was up to bat 3 times and got 2 doubles. He played third base two innings and got 2 outs.
Senorita SassyPants was thrilled about her first game. She was even more thrilled that her shirt was blue because it matched her eyes. She got to use her pink mitt and pink bat. She also played third base. And by played third base I mean she used third base as a pillow as she got "sun kisses". She sat on third base while she made sand castles.
She was distraught when someone running to third base stepped on her sand castle.
