Christmas Letter and Card 2010

December 2010

Dear Family and Friends,

This year has been a Wonderful year for us and we hope it has been for you as well. We’ve had a lot going on, in between school, work, family reunions, a trip to Yellowstone, trips to Hurricane, visits to the Zoo, and just enjoying daily life we’ve been busy.

Sam, is still loving being a Manager at the LDS Employment Center in Provo. He is still a full time student working on his MBA and will graduate in May of 2011. As a requirement of graduation he will be taking a business trip for 2 weeks to South Africa in April. He was also made a High Council-man in our LDS stake in October. He is still the best Daddy you will ever find and makes us his top priority.

Andrea, is still loving being a Mom. She graduated in August, finally! Not much else to report.

Marie, is in the 9^th grade and we just celebrated her 2 year anniversary of when she moved in. She loves her Life Skills class at school and is very helpful. She took a Gold medal in the district Special Needs Track competing in the long jump and shot put. She loves to ride horses and does so every other week doing Equine Therapy.

Seth is a very very very busy 3 year old. He started preschool and loves it. He attends 3 days a week. His favorite classes are cooking and art. His favorite color is Yellow. He broke up with his beloved Binkie this year and we haven’t been able to get him to stop talking since. His favorite part of the trip to Yellowstone this summer was the Buffalo. He spent some time in the ER after swallowing a screw. He’s a very curious little boy with an imagination that amazes us every day.

Christian, became mobile this year and had a lot of firsts: first tooth, first hair cut, first steps, first birthday, first words. He loves to climb on and off the furniture, loves to take something and then run away and giggle the whole time. He has started talking the regular words, Mama, Dada, Baba, Maggie, Lucy, No, Stop and Whoops. He outweighs Seth by a few pounds and is growing fast. He is a happy little Daddy’s Bubba bear.

So it was formatted different on the letter and looked better but you get the idea.

Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve Grandpa and Grandma Forsgren came to dinner and so did Grandma and Papa Mogle. We had a HUGE spread, turkey, ham, potatoes, brussel sprouts, rolls, green bean casserole, Fluffy Fruit Mold, deviled eggs, so much food, but it was great.

After dinner we had a Christmas Program, kindof. Sam read How the Grinch stole Christmas, but we stopped the story at the part where it says "maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store" and we watched the Nativity movie.

The kids got to open their presents from Grandma and Grandpa on Christmas Eve and they opened their new jammies.

And then we all went out to leave out rein deer food. It had oats and sparkles.

Christian's haul from Santa

Christian got a bunch of little people stuff, the farm, the castle, the Amusement park, he also got a bunch of clothes, a bear pillow pet and a wild rider/scooter zebra.

She got DS games, Alive Seal, Clothes, shoes, CD's, Books, and a dolphin pillow pet

a tool bench, a pretend chest with spiderman, iron man, and wolverine costumes, monkey pillow pet, clothes and of course the skateboard and helmet he asked for.

And of course Santa doesn't forget the pets, dog toys, a Kitty Cube, and fish food.

Ok I don't sew. I can a little bit, but I don't really enjoy it. But this year I made all the boys a super hero cape. On the outside of the cape I did Iron ons with a lightening bolt and their initial. I think they turned out ok.

The rest of the day on Christmas we vegged. Everyone got movies in their stockings so we ate leftovers, (well not for breakfast we ate eggs Benedict).We watched: Shrek the final chapter, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Despicable Me...

We packed up and got all ready to head to Hurricane.

December 2010

I know I'm a little behind December was Crazy busy. But here is a few highlights...

It started out as a warm winter. Seth still likes to hop the fence and help Papa Mogle with his yard.

We finally did get some snow, not a lot but enough to make a big pile.

Because it finally got cold Moshoe Kitty decided to start spending more time inside. He is such a strange kitty, but so good.

We went to Temple Square to see the lights. We took Marie's sister Emilee with us.

It was so cold and sooooo crowded. It wasn't quite as magical as I had hoped but it worked out ok.

I'm sad that I'm covering Christians face. :( we tried...

More snow came and Seth and Lucy loved it. Lucy is getting old but she acts like a big puppy in the snow. She loves to catch snow balls.

Seth friend Katy came over to play in the snow too.

And Sam well he finished up his semester! And then his center needed new carpet so he got to take a little over a week off! More about that week in future posts about Christmas, Vacation, and New Years.
