Boondocks

As a family we are participating the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Fundraiser Walk.
They have get togethers with other families that are impacted by type 1. It's a really nice support group and my kids like to play spot the pump.
While we were there they also did their little spill about how to fund raise and what exactly the funds we raise go to.
This year the family get together was at Bookdocks. So after a pizza dinner and getting all informed we headed out to play.
We started off with bumper boats.

This is Katie, our niece, she is spending some of the summer with us.

Then came mini golf

Then the big kids, including Seth got to go play Laser tag but Chris was just an inch to short to play so we went and found the big play ground.
After one game of laser tag Seth was done but Katie and Sam wanted to play again so they did and we enjoyed the playground and arcades.

We had to make one more stop to the bumper boats before we left.

Seth was big enough to drive his own boat but wasn't quite so sure about it so Katie went along for the ride.

Sam and Lexi were on the edge, since the sun was going down I didn't want Lexi to be all wet again.
Chris figured out he could hit Sam with the sprayer even though he was out of the fence. He thought that was hilarious.

We headed home wet, well educated about the JDRF and happy we went.
