Zoo Days

During the last little while we have headed to the zoo a few times. My kids need to get out and they love the zoo. One day we took our friends the Anderson's with us and another day we took our friends the Mecham's with us.
This was zoo day #1.

 We saw the bird show.

 We played on the playground

 And we watched Rizo the polar bear. She is always one of the favorite stops.

 

 

 A few years ago when we were at the zoo one cold winter day we stopped in the reptile house. They keepers had Daisy the Skunk Weasel out and the boys found out all about her. And since then Seth always likes to stop by and tell her hi and make sure she had her favorite pink blanket. This day she wasn't there. So he asked about her and they said she had pasted away. She was a very old weasel. He also asked about the Crocodiles mating because they had been busy last time we were here. The keeper was so nice and went and got him an egg that didn't make it and a tooth for them to feel and told them all about what happened.

 We then of course rode the carousel. 

 Stopped for a few more photos and then we headed home.
